Examples of this include labor cost on warranty parts (1\/2 hour labor - $50), spool pin replacement, cable replacement, etc.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cspan style=\"color: #bd0000;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWe REQUIRE that your BERNINA is using the most current version of firmware\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e prior to servicing. If you do not feel comfortable updating your model yourself (see \"Updating Firmware\" below), our technicians will do so, with a \u003cstrong\u003e$30 charge\/fee assessed\u003c\/strong\u003e to your service cost.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Service is warranted for 30 days after pick-up.\u003c\/strong\u003e Please use your machine soon after picking it up from its service appointment to confirm that any repairs have been made to your satisfaction. Service turnaround time varies with the amount of machines in the queue, from 2-4 weeks. If possible, bring in a sewn example that illustrates the issue; \u003cstrong\u003ea stitch sample or video of the problem can be helpful\u003c\/strong\u003e in diagnosing the issue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a rule of thumb, you should take your machine in every ~3million stitches or on an annual basis.
