Texture rules in this Experimental Needle Felted fabric workshop. Explore hand needle felting using wool, silk, velvet, fibers, yarns, ribbon, cheesecloth and roving to create a luscious textured surface. Simple hand embroidery stitches are our next avenue of exploration as we add a delightful layer of texture, color, pattern and design. Alternatively, you can use free motion embroidery with your machine. Plus, learn how to turn your fabulous fabric into a needle case, mini-journal, brooches, small card wallet, tray basket, tiny vessel or mounted artwork. Your class kit — a $10 fee paid directly to the instructor the morning of class — includes needle felting needles, felt and supplemental fibers to use in addition to yours.
