Artistic Artifacts carries a wide selection of fabrics for the sewing and quilting enthusiast — modern quilting cottons, Australian Aborigine-designs, Indian, Indonesian and African prints,hand dyed and so much more — along with a variety of notions and sewing supplies. You will also find a wide selection of art supplies, and vintage finds.

Our inaugural Creative Minds Summit, a 3-day mixed media retreat, was held in 2023 — our 2024 event is taking place April 19th, 20th & 21st! Our Alexandria shop is also home to the monthly meetings of Judy’s Altered Minds (JAMs), an altered art group open to all who are interested.
This Summmer we are participating in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop, beginning July 1 and continuing through August 31. This regional shop hop includes quilt shops from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland.
