Artistic Artifacts & the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop!
Join in the Shop Hop, July/August 2024!
The All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop is coming to our region for their first annual event this summer, and Artistic Artifacts is proud to be a participant! Beginning July 1 and extending through August 31, this regional shop hop includes quilt shops from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland, offering you the opportunity to explore 90+ stores across the event — including ours!
The All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine — available for pre-order now — is a great way to start your adventure. It will be delivered to us in mid-May, and your copy includes an official Passport, required to register for prizes (see more on prizes below). In addition to your passport, the magazine features everything you need for your Great Sewing Adventures™ – maps, information on participating stores, special shop hop hours, free patterns, inspiring articles and more!
Regional and state maps are included in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine to help you plan your routes. Artistic Artifacts is located in Alexandria, VA, minutes from the historic district of Old Town Alexandria, one of the Condé Nast Top 3 Best Small Cities in the US. and a wonderful arts destination. We’re also very close to Washington DC, with its exceptional lineup of museums, monuments and more.
Many quilters hop with a group of guild friends or as part of a family vacation. They’re not just shopping – they’re making memories as they travel around an area together. Shop Hoppers not only get to visit sewing stores, they also enjoy traveling through both large and small towns, discovering places they may have never visited before. Someone along for the ride may visit a local antique store or boutique while hoppers are visiting a sewing store. Our area has so much to offer friends and families who are shop hopping!
Qualifying for Prizes
Besides all the fun you will have traveling through the beautiful states in the Mid-Atlantic region and visiting the shops, you can also win prizes — participating stores and industry sponsors are providing a huge number of prizes, with all winners selected randomly. Your official passport — found in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine is required to qualify for prize drawings:
- Present your Passport in person to be stamped at each participating store you visit.
- One stamp per customer per store.
- No purchase is necessary to play!
- Participants must be age 18 or older. A special youth passport is available for young sewers ages 8 to 17! Pick one up at participating Shop Hop stores.
- Only one Passport may be submitted by a participant: two or more Passports may NOT be combined to achieve prize levels.
Shop Hop Inc manages large scale events across the United States and is excited to be bringing this event to the Mid-Atlantic area. Known as “The Great Sewing Adventure™ Across The Mid-Atlantic,” this event offers unique benefits not available in smaller hops.
