We’re looking forward to the second annual All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop — we had so much fun meeting so many hoppers! The 2025 event takes place July 1 through August 31, and includes quilt shops from Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland, offering you the opportunity to explore more than 100 stores across the region — including ours!
The All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine is available for pre-order now. It contains your official Passport, required to register for prizes (see more on prizes below). The information on participating stores, free patterns, inspiring articles and more makes this a useful resource all year round!
Regional and state maps are included in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine to help you plan your routes. Artistic Artifacts is located in Alexandria, VA, minutes from the historic district of Old Town Alexandria, one of the Condé Nast Top 3 Best Small Cities in the US. and a wonderful arts destination. We’re also very close to Washington DC, with its exceptional lineup of museums, monuments and more.
For the 2025 All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop, Artistic Artifacts will be open every Sunday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and will be open until 8:00 pm on Thursdays. These special shop hop hours go into effect June 1.
Qualifying for Shop Hop Prizes!
Besides all the fun of traveling through the beautiful states in the Mid-Atlantic region visiting the shops, participants could also win prizes — participating stores and industry sponsors provided a huge number of prizes, with all winners selected randomly. Artistic Artifacts is giving away a BERNINA 335 and will conduct regular weekly gift card drawings to all Shop Hoppers who complete an entry form. Your official passport — found in the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine — was required to qualify for prize drawings:
With big hops such as this, it’s not always possible to visit every participating store — the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop has split regions, allowing you to visit fewer stores and still qualify for great prizes! All winners will be selected by random drawing from the prize levels where they qualify.

Many quilters hop with a group of guild friends or as part of a family vacation. They’re not just shopping – they’re making memories as they travel around an area together. Shop Hoppers not only get to visit sewing stores, they also enjoy traveling through both large and small towns, discovering places they may have never visited before. Someone along for the ride may visit a local antique store or boutique while hoppers are visiting a sewing store. Our area has so much to offer friends and families who are shop hopping!
