BERNINA Embroidery Skill Building with Katherine Nichols: Monogramming & LetteringSaturday, May 18, 2024
10:30 am - 2:30 pm, ½ hour lunch break
One of the most fun and most common uses of machine embroidery is monogramming. This month we will talk about monogramming using your embroidery module and the OESD “Essential Monograms” design pack to create one or three letter monograms within a decorative border. We’ll discuss guidelines for monogram placement and how to hoop items to be monogrammed. We’ll also explore the lettering capabilities of your 5-series or 7-series BERNINA machine by combining letters to make names or script using the fonts that are built into your machine. Come join us for a day of “creative writing!”
You will need to purchase
OESD design #12719, Essential Monograms and load it to a USB stick for use during class. Click on the link for the class supply list for a complete list of what you’ll need to bring to class.
