Artistic Artifacts offers BERNINA Sewing Machine Mastery Classes, BERNINA Embroidery Machine Mastery classes and BERNINA Serger Mastery Classes on a regular basis, in-person at our shop in Alexandria, VA as a FREE benefit to those who purchased their BERNINA from us!
Each BERNINA Sewing Machine Mastery class is focused on a specific series and is designed to familiarize you step-by-step with the operation of your sewing machine. Students are required to bring their machines in for Mastery class. Note that due to the size or other requirements of the class or concurrent scheduling, some Mastery classes take in our second-floor space, with access via stairs only. Artistic Artifacts staff are always available to help convey machines to our second floor.
When you purchase your machine from us, you must use or provide a valid email address that is monitored frequently. Mastery class communication and other important information will come from sales@ArtisticArtifacts.com — please add that to your email’s safe list, or otherwise approve it to ensure receiving your emailed information (check your own email provider information for specifics). — for instance, Gmail may classify our email address as "promotion" and filter it away your primary inbox.
Artistic Artifacts will contact BERNINA owners as each specific Mastery class series is scheduled. We ask for patience regarding scheduling and wait times; Mastery attendees are chosen according to an established queue. Note that while we understand that customers have busy lives, we will offer two different opportunities to attend our free Mastery class. If neither of those two dates are accepted, it then becomes the BERNINA owner’s responsibility to contact Artistic Artifacts asking about a future Mastery class.
Please note: we are having problems with ‘no shows’ for our in-person Mastery classes. This is unfair to our instructors as well as to those on the waiting list. We ask that if something comes up and you are unable to make your class, please let us know as soon as possible so we may invite another student to take the seat.
At the present time, demand for our classes is so great that we are not able to offer the purchase of a class registration from those who purchased their BERNINA elsewhere.
