Denise writes, “I love the scent in the atmosphere after rain has settled. Living on acreage between hills, surrounded by nature, the air seems sweet and cleaner. During the rain, I feel spoiled that I can indulge, spending all day in my studio, painting or nutting out a new sewing project. For me rain has a calming effect, it makes me feel peaceful and at rest. After the rain, everything feels refreshed, with a sense of renewal.”
