The Schoolhouse Sampler is the newest design in the tutorial series by Dropcloth. Founder Rebecca Ringquist shares, “This jam packed design does not disapoint. Inspired by the history of American sampler making and makers, I filled this pattern with stitch tutorials, letters, and eight different pattern squares.” Includes one Schoolhouse sampler printed in permanent ink on 100% cotton fabric, ready for you to hoop and stitch, printed basic instructions and stitch diagrams. Finishes to approximately 10 in. x 12 in. You provide your own threads (Dropcloth Samplers uses a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss), needles, and hoop.

Please note: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. For best results, back this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop to get the flattest, most even stitches. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like. Use your own favorite stitches and threads to make this fun project your own!
