I bought both the blue and green fabric for a class at the store. I paired the green with the pear canvas from the store. The texture and the quality of the fabric is wonderful. Highly recommend.

It is always a pleasure to enter the doors at Artistic Artifacts. The store is filled with not only fabrics & threads but displays and samples to spark one’s imagination. There are fabrics for quilters, bag makers and garment sewing along with notions and patterns. The staff is always willing to help and answer questions and if they don’t have the answer, they are quick to find someone who does.
This is a gem of a store in Alexandria. Wonderful staff who are always ready to help you, incredible fabric selection and lots of creative inspiration! My favorite store!!

Artistic Artifacts is my favorite store in the world. Everyone is so knowledgeable, personable and helpful. Every time I walk in the store I feel like at home, and learn something new. It’s an adventure into creating and exploring. Their selection of fabric, threads, books, artistic gadgets etc. is amazing. So many unique things from all over the world. I love their classes because they combine local and out of town instructors, some of them famous. Judy, the owner is just the nicest person. She has made of her store a warm place where all artistic minds belong, from beginners to pros, and there are no limits or rules. Really an amazing place full of amazing and talented people!
