Artistic Artifacts welcomes Diane L. Murtha, an award-winning quilter, fiber artist, and lecturer/instructor our shop on Saturday, October 26 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Diane will be signing her book Artful Insights In Fabric: Quilted Bits of Wit & Wisdom (copies will be available to purchase directly from Diane), and a mini trunk show will start at 1:30 pm. A long-time member of Quilters Unlimited in Northern Virginia, Diane’s passion for quilting has led her to explore the realms of art and modern quilts, and her designs have been featured in numerous books, magazines, juried exhibits, and international shows.
