If you love the thought of playing with every color of the rainbow in one mixed media project, then this booklet is for you! Jaime Echt will teach you various stenciling techniques while you explore the why’s and why not’s of color theory. Dimensional Stencil Butters combined with modeling pastes, paint pens, permanent pens and more will be the media of the day. Bring along any “fodder” created in Jaime’s other two classes or from previous adventures to incorporate into your booklet. Your class kit — a $60* fee paid directly to the instructor the morning of class includes watercolor paper, book board, ribbon, 12 in. x 12 in. TCW Stencil, a palette knife, a palette pad, sponge brush and a blending brush — all yours to keep after class! Your fee also includes the following for use while in class: a dozen different Stencil Butters, Modeling Paste, Gel Medium, Gesso, dozens of stencils and various paint pens.

Suitable to all, from beginner to crazy eclectic enthusiast, this class offers you instruction in color theory, stenciling techniques, mixed media painting, and simple bookmaking (zig-zag book ties with ribbon) as you use Stencil Butters in many different ways.
About the Instructor: Coming from a Fashion Design and Fine Arts background, Jaime Echt has always been drawn to beautiful colors and striking designs. She opened an art store in 1997 and soon realized that no stencils met her creative needs. With pen in hand, she drew the first of over 1,000 designs created and distributed by The Crafter's Workshop. As the popularity of her stencils grew, so did her desire to develop more tools and products that would make stencils easier and more exciting to use. The creation of Stencil Butter and Stardust Butter is Jaime’s answer to 3-dimensional effects that’ll nurture every Artist’s creative soul.
