Welcome to Marisela’s Fantasy Garden, where you will find beautiful flowers, birds and all sort of things including a dragonfly, a rooster, many swirls and even an angel giving you a bouquet. The Fantasy Garden fiber art was created for the Backyard Escape exhibit produced by Sacred Threads in response to an invitation from the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center for an uplifting quilt display to support families and and patients who often have long stays or many visits to the hospital. A mural artist, fiber artist, award-winning quilter and Certified Zentangle Teacher, Marisela is an instructor and artist in residence at the Workhouse Arts Center and a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Center.
