New Year’s Ephemera Gift
Indulging in my love of vintage ephemera, earlier this year I acquired a trove of wonderful postcards, and I wanted to share the following with you to mark 2025’s arrival and to wish you Happy New Year!
To download, click on the links, which bring up the full-size version, then right-click (or click and hold on a Mac) and save the high resolution JPG to your computer.
I enjoy my tradition of celebrating holidays with ephemera shares. And I love when people share what they have made using these vintage downloads. I believe the above sweet girl will be a popular download!
It’s always fun to see what we nowadays consider odd imagery used in vintage postcards. Meilleurs voeux et Bonne Année translates to Best wishes and Happy New Year, but I can’t explain the infants setting sail!
I often use Prepared for Images products with my vintage photographs and postcards to then use in an art quilt or mixed media journal.
Such vivid colors in both postcards shown above and below!
A previous year’s post Summer Heat, Winter Ephemera (celebrating Christmas in July) not only includes additional Christmas & New Year’s imagery, but links to several of my holiday-related tutorials using vintage postcards, greeting cards and more.
