The Drawing Stitches Sampler was Inspired by the marks Rebecca Ringquist, the creator of Dropcloth Samplers, found herself making in my own sketchbooks, and is packed with no less than 31 different stitches ranging from easy to moderate (with nary a french knot in the bunch) for you to discover, practice, and master. You’ll be left with a work of art to hang on your wall and a reference point for future embroidery projects! Includes one sampler printed in permanent ink on 100% cotton fabric, ready for you to hoop and stitch, printed basic instructions and stitch diagrams. You provide your own threads (Dropcloth Samplers uses a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss), needles, and hoop. Finished, the sampler measures  10 in. x 13 in.

Please note: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. For best results, back this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop to get the flattest, most even stitches. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like. Use your own favorite stitches and threads to make this fun project your own!
