Gathering of individual fine fabric layers; simultaneous gathering and sewing onto a flat piece of fabric and evenly gathering of fabric strips for ruffles. The fabric to be gathered is positioned underneath the Gathering Attachment, while the fabric that remains flat passes over it. The fabric is gathered by differential feed at the same time as it is sewn onto the flat fabric.
