The Yo Yo Rainbow, designed by Rebecca Ringquist in her Portland, Oregon studio, features five rows of color. It's potentially the easiest Dropcloth sampler yet — the example shown uses just two stitches: back stitch and running stitch. However, like all of Dropcloth designs, you can customize this one with your own stitches and colors. Yo Yo Rainbow is the third design in Dropcloth samplers inspired by traditional American quilts. Printed in permanent ink on 100% cotton fabric, ready for you to hoop and stitch. Includes printed basic instructions and stitch diagrams. You provide your own threads (Dropcloth Samplers uses a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss), needles, and hoop. Finished, the Yo Yo sampler measures 9 in. x 11 in.

Please note: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. For best results, back this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop to get the flattest, most even stitches. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like. Use your own favorite stitches and threads to make this fun project your own!
