Fishy Tales with Susan Edmonson
Saturday, March 15, 2025
10:30 am – 4:30 pm
Let’s swim with some fun little fish! In class we will learn perfect machine appliqué techniques using unique threads. We will be working on one fish in class as time allows. Have fun using bright, fun Kaffe, Tula or other fabrics, black and white for a different border around each fish, with some 3-D embellishments of Yo-Yo’s. Learn lots of techniques from Susan during this really “fishy” class. Hand Embroidery was done around each fish by Susan, but if you don’t want to do hand you can just do machine techniques. Susan will walk you through many hand embroidery techniques and 3-D (Stumpwork) stitches using hand dyed threads such as Painter’s Threads — her favorites! Your registration total includes a $16 fee for the required Fishy Tales pattern — it will be mailed to you prior to class. Download your student supply list »
