We’re already looking forward to Seth’s next visit to our shop, beginning with a Friday evening lecture/show & tell event as he shares insights on third fabric collection with FreeSpirit Fabrics, On the Mark, arriving in August — we’ll have it available for pre-order in the coming months. About Seth Apter: This mixed media artist, instructor, designer, shopkeep, and author from New York City transitioned from a full-time career as a psychologist to being a full-time artist and maker. His work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions and can be found in numerous books and national magazines and as a designer he has created product collections with many companies over the years, including rubber stamps, embossing powders, colors of Fresco Finish paints and much more, including his fabric collections with FreeSpirit Fabrics. “My artistic practice is based on the concepts of community and collaboration, and I believe in the power of art to bring people together,” Seth says. “Art for me is everything and sharing the process in all these different forms makes it even better.” Visit Seth’s website now »
