"As someone who attaches narrative to almost every creative endeavor, it is natural for me to be inspired by folkloric forms, as well as vintage book illustrations. In designing Allegory, I worked with a few favorite pieces from the past that were worth another look. I combined them with new bouquets, floral hearts, houses in the woods, and even penning my own allegories in the "Prose" print. These prints can occupy both sophisticated and playful projects for makers of any kind"
