Birds of a Feather is Helen Godden's collection for FreeSpirit Fabrics, inspired by the birdlife she grew up with in Australia. Those birds, she writes, "represent everything that is positive in this world — colour, music and freedom," and the collection captures "a piece of my daily joy" in her painterly, expressive style.

Bird Blocks is the collection's panel, setting Helen's birds into a grid of framed blocks — ready to cut apart for a sampler quilt, or quilt whole as a single piece.
