Copper Rose Tussah Silk Limited Edition Roving/Sliver

These Salt Spring Island tussah silk roving/silk sliver packages are from Treenway Silks. They are hand-painted in Colorado in a labor-intensive process: since silk loves dye, it grabs the color quickly so the dye does not wick throughout. It requires careful manipulation and effort to achieve even color coverage on silk roving and consistency from package to package. These beautiful colorways are ideal for use in Tamara Leberer's Silk Fusion process, spinning, nuno felting, or any fiber arts. Colorfast; sold per 25 Gram (0.9 oz) packages.
