With the Hookey Serger Seam Hook from Blue Feather, it's quick and easy to lock serger seams so the serging doesn't unravel. Package includes two (2) nickel plated Hookey serger seam hooks. To lock serger seams: snip seam thread tails to 2.5 in. Slip a Hookey blade into the serger seam .5 in. or more from seam end. Hook the thread tails near ends, then pull thread tails into the seam with hook slightly rotated toward fabric. Unhook secured thread tails and clip.
