Hot Ribbon allows you to add accents of color to any fabric project, finish the raw edges of appliqué, and more! Available in multiple colors, including two metallics — note: metallic colors are $5.99 each. Hot Ribbon can be applied on most porous surfaces — the applications are only limited by your imagination! Each package contains two yards (183 cm) of Hot Ribbon: it is packaged in four 18 in. long x 1/8 in. wide strips (46 cm x 3 mm) and can be cut into even thinner strips without fraying. This polyester ribbon product bonds easily to the surface of your quilting or crafts projects: 1) Use a medium heat setting on your mini iron when first putting it down on the fabric; and 2) When all the Hot Ribbon is in place, cover the Hot Ribbon design with a non-stick pressing sheet and use a large iron set to HOT, and hold on each spot 30-35 seconds to heat set the Hot Ribbon and make it adhere permanently. Clothing or quilts embellished with Hot Ribbon can be machine washed (delicates) and tumble dried on cool or low.
