Infusions by PaperArtsy are water soluble particles with two components: a fine permanent dye color pigment mixed with a walnut crystal particle. The two react with water at different rates — you will see instant color, and then a brown base will slowly develop as the walnut crystal dissolves more gradually. (See also Just Walnut Infusion.) This allows you complete control over the color-to-brown ratio depending on how much water you apply, and how fast you blot or dry the surface with a heat tool. Suitable for use on paper/fabric, wood, through stencils, into gel mediums; i.e. most porous surfaces, but also wonderful when used with or over both wet and dry Fresco Finish paint. Use through stencils; mix with Mattints, acrylic mediums and more.
