This large sheer, fringed Motamal Bunkar Shara Kalyan Samiti in a beautiful batik print measures approximately 36 in. wide and 97 in. long. These traditional textiles are handwoven in Chanderi by Motamal Handlooms, a prominent manufacturer and suppliers of handloom sarees, designer sarees, Traditional sarees, printed sarees and heavy sarees.  Madhya Pradesh (a state in central India) occupies a special place because of its weaving specialty of fine textured natural fabrics of silk and cotton embellished with zari work (an ancient craft of weaving metallic threads into fabrics to create intricate designs).
