Silk chiffon (may include other fibers such as metallic embellishments, etc.); each unique skein contains 100 grams of blissful silk fiber (approximately 45 yards). These lush silk sari remnants are reclaimed from the factory floors of India and are sewn together end to end by women's cooperatives. Knit (suggested needles US 9-11) or crochet with this luscious fiber -- finished garments or projects should be hand-washed in cold water; lay flat to dry. Great for embellishing, couching, use as art doll hair... or whatever your creative juices inspire!
