Embroidery on Everything, a monthly embroidery course for all BERNINA machines, is focused on BERNINA embroidery accessories and popular embroidery techniques. Each lesson will include a video and handout for you to use as you learn and hone your embroidery skills. By purchasing the BERNINA Skill Hub class, you gain access to comprehensive online lessons and support materials, including:

This Embroidery Program was created by the BERNINA Education Department and hosted by Kate Green, BERNINA of America Embroidery Education Specialist. The 12 lessons listed here — released on the 15th of the month — are ideal for entry-level to advanced-beginner embroiderers but also serve as an excellent refresher course! You may join the club at any time in 2026, with full access to watch and rewatch all content to work at your own pace.

• January Lesson 1: Quilting Cotton
  Starting with strong foundational skills is important to growing your skills at every stage. This month we go over basic embroidery tools and quilting cotton embroidery
• February Lesson 2: In the Hoop
  In this lesson, we dive into the world of in-the-hoop projects aka the quintessential embroidery projects
• March Lesson 3: Applique Patches
  There are so many ways to do machine embroidered applique, let’s go over them and how to be successful with each one
• April Lesson 4: Terry Towels
  A classic embroidery project everyone loves to make, this month you will learn to embroider terry cloth towels
• May Lesson 5: Tote Bag
  Our first look into BERNINA freearm embroidery, this lesson is about using BERNINA accessories to embroider at tote bag
• June Lesson 6: Fleece
  Get cozy with embroidered Fleece, a great lesson in embroidery on stretchy and texture fabrics
• July Lesson 7: Socks
  This month we will use the new BERNINA Sock Hoops to make embroidered socks for every occasion
• August Lesson 8: T-Shirt
  Here we will adventure deeper into BERNINA freearm embroidery by learning to stitch on jersey t-shirts
• September Lesson 9: Hat
  Hats are a fun and quick embroidery project if you know the tips and tricks to make it easy
• October Lesson 10: Quilting
  In this lesson, You’ll learn how to use computerized quilting to finish your quilts or add texture to various projects
• November Lesson 11: FSL/FSA
  Freestanding Lace is a staple of the holiday season. Let’s take a look at the difference in freestanding lace versus freestanding appliqué and how to embroider them properly
• December Lesson 12: Couching
  Couching is a fantastic way to add texture and visual interest to embroidery projects. In this lesson you’ll learn when it works and how to be successful with couching.

The BERNINA Embroidery on Everything includes all BERNINA machines! The majority of this content can be done in a Large Oval or Midi Hoop to ensure that all machines can do the project provided. If you do not yet own a BERNINA, you may also be able to complete many of the projects, so consider registering for the club to learn more about embroidery and to be introduced to the precision and ease of BERNINA embroidery.
