Mark your calendar for the 2025 edition of our Creative Minds Summit! Enjoy four days, four talented instructors, and exclusive fiber & mixed media classes to choose from. Our mixed media retreat will take place Thursday, April 24 through Sunday, April 27 at our shop in Alexandria, VA. Artistic Artifacts owner Judy Gula will be joined by the following talented fiber & mixed media artists: Julie Booth, Kecia Deveney and Leighanna Light. We can’t wait to welcome them — and you!

We’ll have full details for you soon. As always, most (or all) materials will be provided for each Creative Minds Summit class, with a kit fee payable to your instructor that morning. Each class description will detail what is included as well as your student supply list. In addition, lunch is provided each day!

We enjoy welcoming out of towners for the Summit — it’s an event that’s worth traveling for! If you haven’t visited before, Alexandria is one of the Condé Nast Top 3 Best Small Cities in the US. It features preserved 18th- and 19th-century architecture in its Old Town district, with acclaimed restaurants; boutiques and a vibrant arts culture. (We’re also located just outside Washington DC, with its exceptional lineup of museums, monuments and more.) Plan a trip with family and friends — they’ll be happily occupied while you’re attending the Summit!
