Born in England but a long-time resident of Illinois, Catherine discovered quilting in 1998 and five years later started teaching classes. She now speaks and teaches around the country. A member of the Riverwalk Quilters Guild, Catherine has served in a variety of roles including president. She is also a member of the Fiber Art Divas, PAQA, and co-founded the Naperville Modern Quilters Guild. She has appeared multiple times on Quilting Arts TV and is a regular contributor to several magazines as well as authoring her own books, including the just released Modern Machine Quilting, Second Edition, a revised and expanded resource for finishing your quilts creatively on your home machine.
