Save the Date for Seth Apter’s September Visit

We’re already looking forward to Seth’s next visit to our shop coming this September! We’ll begin with a Friday evening lecture/show & tell event as he shares insights on latest fabric collections with FreeSpirit Fabrics, these evenings are always so much fun! Then we will have two different classes with Seth that, as always, will be packed with techniques and mixed media fun! (Note that due to their popularity and to allow for as many registrants as possible, Seth’s classes will take place in our upstairs classroom, with access via stairs only.) About Seth Apter: This mixed media artist, instructor, designer, shopkeep, and author from New York City transitioned from a full-time career as a psychologist to being a full-time artist and maker. His work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions and can be found in numerous books and national magazines and as a designer he has created product collections with many companies over the years, including rubber stamps, embossing powders, colors of Fresco Finish paints and much more, including his fabric collections with FreeSpirit Fabrics. “My artistic practice is based on the concepts of community and collaboration, and I believe in the power of art to bring people together,” Seth says. “Art for me is everything and sharing the process in all these different forms makes it even better.” Visit Seth’s website now »
